Get in touch
Something not working, a question about a claim, or a message for whoever runs this — all three arrive in the same place.
Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm (WAT) — A small team answers these, so a reply comes within support hours rather than instantly. Messages sent outside them wait until the next working morning.
Pick the fastest route
The channel you choose changes how quickly this gets sorted, so it is worth ten seconds.
The quickest way to reach us and the one we watch most closely. Best for anything urgent, or anything easier to show in a photo than to describe.
The support number is not published yet. Use the form below in the meantime.
An issue with a specific claim
Open the claim in your profile and use Report an issue. It reaches us with the item, the claim and both parties already attached, so nothing has to be described from memory — and it joins a queue we work through in order.

For anything that is not about a specific claim: a question, a correction, a request about your data, or an offer to help.
Send us a message
This reaches the same inbox as the email address, with the subject filled in for us.
If it is about a claim you have already made, Report an issue inside that claim is faster.

What people ask before they start
The points that stop people most often, answered from what the platform actually does.
Is it actually free?
Yes. Posting something you found is free, recovering your own is free, and we take no commission on anything. The platform runs on donations rather than fees — because a charge, even 500 FCFA, would shut out exactly the people it exists for.
What is a “pledge”, and how much?
A voluntary thank-you, between 1,000 and 100,000 FCFA, that you can offer someone who kept your item safe. It is settled directly between you, by Mobile Money or hand to hand: the platform never touches the money and takes nothing from it.
Do I have to pay to get my own property back?
No, never. The pledge is voluntary, and nobody may demand payment for returning something that is not theirs. If you cannot give anything, just say so — plenty of finders ask for nothing.
Someone is asking me to pay before handing the item over. Is that normal?
No, and it is the most common scam on a platform like this. Never pay before the item is in front of you. If you are asked for money to “release”, “unblock” or “guarantee” a handover, stop and report it from the claim.
Do you handle online payments?
No. There is no card, no wallet and no balance to top up here. Nothing passes through the platform: if there is a pledge, it goes straight from one person to the other.
How does reputation work?
Every account starts at 100 and moves between 0 and 200, on facts only: a handover completed, a claim abandoned, a report upheld. Stars left after a handover are counted separately and never move that score.
Who can see my name?
The name and reputation of whoever posts a found item are visible: that is what lets someone decide whether to trust them, and it is intended. Your email address and phone number are never shown, and a claimer's name is only shown to the finder concerned.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from your profile. Deletion becomes final after 30 days and you can cancel at any point in that window. It is refused while one of your claims is mid-handover — somebody may be waiting to give back an item you proved was yours. Afterwards your name and email are erased while your listings stay, with nothing left pointing to you.
How do I reach an actual person?
WhatsApp is the fastest channel and the one we watch most closely. For a problem with a specific claim, go through the claim itself: the message reaches us with the full case attached. Our hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm (WAT). We do not promise a response time — a small team answers, and it answers during those hours.
